Hi, I did a manual uninstall of symantec quarantine console and quarantine center from the registry of a Windows 2003 Server...and now when I try to reinstall the quarantine console, for some reason the setup still see's fragments of it on the system and tries to uninstall it first. During the uninstall i get this error:
UnAMSSetup:Error Loading AMS Install DLL - Install AMS DLL
When I look in add/remove programs I do still see Symantec Quarantine Console (with no change/remove buttons), however I did remove it from add/remove programs in the registry as well.
I believe it may be looking for the ams.dll found in C:\Program Files\Symantec\Quarantine\Console\Ams2 but I already deleted this.
Is there any way to get past this uninstall?
Help would be greatly appreciated

Andrea

Nevermind, I just solved my problem by using the "Windows Installer Cleanup Utility". It removed all of the Windows Installer configuration information for the quarantine console so it got completely removed and I was then able to reinstall it. You can download this utility from this url:
