Hey guys

maybe anybody can help me out?
I have links to two different access databases in crystal reports 7. On print preview, there appears an error msg "Error in file links, Warning: fields in the report from the file 'table1' cannot be linked"...
but I can browse the values, with 'browse field data'.
I tried with verify data.. and tried to connect the databases again. DOESN'T WORK!!!
your help is much appreciated

Make sure you can see the link in the "Visual Linking Expert." If not, re-link and be sure to hit OK at the bottom of the Linking Expert Page or the link will not hold, but the table will still show up.

Hi,

Do the access fields being linked to/from need to have been defined as key fields within the access tables??
