I am using a label as a button and have used the "webding" arrow fonts. If my users DO NOT have the font installed, will the button look crazy?

In other words; does Access store the font information or does it draw from the users installed fonts?

Access will substitute a font for any font not installed on other machines. You must include and install the font on the other machine if you expect the font to be the same as you used in your design.

Another option to consider is typing the webding text in MS Word or Excel. Select and copy the text and then paste it onto the detail section of your form as an Unbound object.

You can make the borders and background transparent, set it over your button or label and assign it's click event appropriately.

I'm thinking it should travel well with your form.

I ended up doing a screen capture of the button with the webding font and creating bitmap image files. It was just more work. Happy Holidays!
