"Deny List" log files? 1

Hello,

I have started adding public IP subnets to our global "Deny" list in exchange to cut down on spam. We are a small company that does not need to be getting spam from China and other places like Indonesia....

So anyway, the "Deny" list is growing and I would like to have the ability to see a list of email getting denied. Is there a log somewhere that shows all blocked email by the global deny list?

I am pretty new to this community but perhaps there is some value to in this post (unlike one above )

1.
u can use IMF though and Archive mail...
C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\UceArchive
as one option of 'going thought bad mail'
nasty and not desired due to obvious reasons but a window to consider...ok not quite what ur after..

2.
u can also log your SMTP for NDRs and relay attempts...(if u have that kind of patience)
Look for a 'QUIT' entry directly after the 'MAIL FROM' command indicating that connection was closed.You still can not see the recipent but its something...downside is u depend on SMTP logging which..is there for 'testing' not really for true 'historical' view of things unless u do log dumps....cumersome and time consuming

Whoa! Let me check out all the information you posted and give me a few to check out that program. Looks interesting... Hopefully Exchange server 2007 will have better logging and reporting???
