When I try to run dBase from a DOS window I get this error message. I'm using Windows XP Professional and I have a path setup to the dBase directory. If I copy the dBase program to the directory I want to work in, it works fine. But, I don't want to have a lot of dBase programs all over my hard drive. I use to have the same problem in Windows 98, but something seemed to fix it one day and I was able to run dBase from any directory. My laptop runs dBase fine, but I can't seem to duplicate the setup on my desk top. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Which version are you using?

Map the dBase dir to a drive on your machine.
