What is the procedure for "coupling" a 767 to a processor port?

I find there is a processor port labelled ISDN already. Do you create a new ISDN "port" for each 767? Or do you create a port for each signalling group? Aren't the signalling groups simply protocol definitions more or less?

See Thread 690-1206137

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you adding another T1 to your ISDN trunk group? Is it going to have a "D" channel? If not then program your new circuit as an ISDN-EXT
(Signaling Mode: isdn-ext)then add it to your signal group with the correct interface ID

Trunk Brd Interface ID Trunk Brd Interface ID
1: 02B20 0
2: 02E18 1
3: 01E17 2
4: 09A12 3
5: 10A12 4
6: 01E18 5
7: 09B12 6

If the T1 has a D-Channel it programs a little different. good luck

What kind of PBX is this one? GrR?? G3si?? Some pbx's will recognize the type of card once it in installed and you do not have to administer a "processor" channel. But on the si's you may have to configure the data module channel, a processor channel and a link.

it's a G3si V6

I have administered a processor channel, the data module, and comm link and signalling group, as well as the Ds1 and trunk group, but have administered no members in the trunk group as I can't get the D-channel up.

I keep getting this error 138 on the DS1, and when I test the DS1 and the D-channel both give me an error code 1011 but we cannot find that error code anywhere in any manual, pdf, anything.

I was told here not to administer any b-channels until I got my d-channel up and stable. I may administer one just to see.

We're pulling our hair out here.

I got rid of the junky CSU and everything works now
