Hi guys, can someone help me with this little problem.

I have an order book in Paradox and when users are in the form trying to search for a company name the above error message shows. However, when in table view, it works ok. Can anyone shed any light on this, it's obviously something to do with my form....but it's not that obvious to me.

Thanks

Hi Tony
It's just an ordinary alpha field, no query involved and no code on the field.
Cheers

What is being entered to search on?

Was the field in question copied and pasted, by chance?

I'd take a look at the data in that field, and make sure there aren't extraneous characters.

As well, if pasting the search value, make sure there aren't weird characters in the search string.

Not yet, have been on leave for a couple of days, will get down to it this week and let you know.

Sorted, there was code on the field and it seems this stopped the Ctrl+Z facility from working.

Thanks for you help.
