"Can't open this item. Unknown Error" when opening emails

Hi All,

Need some help. Have Exchange 2000 running on the server with Outlook 2002 on the workstations. Getting a problem with some internal and external mails. It comes up with "Can't open this item. Unknown Error". It also just comes up with "Unknown Error" when you try and reply. After happening to us, it also happened to a client as well with a similar setup which is more than just random corruption I feel.

All service packs, security updates, patches, AV etc has been done.

This issue may occur if Microsoft Office XP is not properly installed. To resolve this issue, use the Outlook Detect and Repair tool to repair Outlook:

In Outlook, click Detect and Repair on the Help menu. When you are prompted to do so, click Start to start the detect and repair process. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the detect and repair process.

Thanks Peping, however I have already tried this. It has been fine for a while and it is now happening to 4 mailboxes and not just one. Any other ideas?
