I am trying to install CW2000 CD1 on an HP DL380 G3 with W2K Standard Server, and I am getting the "cannot create install dependency file" error message. I located a reference to this error message on here thread63-922460 but the link explaining the solution no longer works.

I have searched the cisco website and google, but no other info was found. Can someone help me out here please?

Thanks,

Hi,

See if this helps.
1. Set environment variable JAVA_COMPILER=NONE into System Environment.
It must be in System Environment, not User.
2. For each CD in the bundle, make a local copy in the hard drive, remove the file disk1\dependency\jre\bin\symcjit.dll, and run the setup.exe.
Good luck.

I am having them same issue. I set the enviro variable, copy the cd and removed the dll, but still cannot install
