Anyone know how to update the Server list in device manager so it only shows active servers. I have servers in that list that have been shutdown 2 years ago.

The servers are stored in the discovery table in the registry.
If you still have old servers that's means that the discovery is not running.
You could run it with Dsconfig in CA/shared components/CADS.

Discovery service is running. Tried running discover now with no luck. Is it safe to just clean old servers from the discovery table in the registry?

HI,

Yes. You can delete the entried for the OLD server from the registry.

Also if you have multuple ARCserve servers where the entries are up to date, you can export the discovery table from a properly working server to the problem serer using the dsconfig.

So it Shall be Written!
