Whenever I choose to enter the blending options screen in Photoshop 6.0 , it takes about 10-15 seconds until the screen pops-up. Please help me, 'couse it's impossible to work like that. I'm using a P4, 128mb ram, Geforce ultra card with detonator 3.0.

Well that's disappointing - I am just about to upgrade and was hoping that a faster system would improve this! I've not used PS6 on a particularly quick machine , but on every machine (including Win98 and Win2000) that I have used it on this screen takes forever - it almost makes you not want to apply these effects, and it makes the whole program feel slow.

Is anyone running PS6 on a machine which brings this screen up quickly? Let us know please!

That's the whole point, I installed the same copy on an older computer in my garrage (pII-300) just for refference and the screen pops up faster there.

I use AMD thunderbird 750Mhz, 128Mb Ram, 32Mb Video ram...
The screen pops up as normal. No delay.

Are you guys talking about the blending option which you can reach through right clicking on the layer...?

If it is, then, at my side, I dun see any delay.

Yep, that's the screen. Mine isn't as bad as skydock's - I wait 5-10 seconds, but in computer time...

Well, last night I installed Photoshop 6.0 under Win2000 on my computer, and heck, no problem at all, it pops immediatly. So I guess the problem is with some driver or other conflict.
