Dear All,

We have this 2 "unsolved" phenomenons with All KX PABX system models with one install site:

1) Trace from SMDR show that Outgoing Call are being setup by internal extension and then transfer to other internal extensions.

2) Occasionally, Incoming Call to a DDI number are being "automatically" intercept and transfer to other extensions.

We have exhausted all resources to test and troubleshot the above.

All Advise are greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Rgds,
Wasabay!

what have you checked.

have you done a isdn trace to see if the digits coming in are not changing if calls are coming in from different areas.

have you checked forwards, intercept on busy/no answer
different destinations on day/night/lunch/break modes

Hi obtsystems,

SMDR records showed that the call were generated by internal extensions.

We have done all we can:
- Changed system models.
- force verification code for suspicious extensions.
- System inter-link using 2 cabinet via Q-Sig
- IP Phones.
- Isolated cable/backbone cable.
- we even get the Telco to give us a new ISDN circuit.
- At one point we have disable all default feature codes.
- Relocate the Pabx to another location.
- Upgrade latest firmware etc......

Thank you .

Thanks.

The system will not setup a call on its own
Do you have a voicemail connected to the system.
