Sorry for posting this here - if the mods can tell me the correct forum, that'd be great. The error in principle is the same to a lot of other issues though.

I have an Adaptec 29160 SCSI Card - the SCSI device at the other end is a Canon DR5080C Scanner

It worked fine until some of the pins on the SCSI cable got damaged and I replaced the cable.

Now when the pc boots and I select the SCSI utility, I get the following error:

"Attention ! Insufficient termination detected on the LVD/SE connectors"

The cable is secure at both ends.

I never had to modify the SCSI termination bus to get the scanner working previously.

The OS is W2K

Any ideas?
