Info: We have 7 MF1.8 on NT4 servers with one separate PC running as the ICA Master Browser. All the 7 servers are configured not to be master browsers.

Problem: Just about every day, one of the seven servers gets the application error for ibrowser.exe. The ICA Browser service cannot be restarted, so a reboot is necessary. We had no problems before SP3 was installed.

Solutions: Anyone got one??

Do you have a regular reboot cycle?

There are so many reasons for the ICA Browser to trap like this, it's impossible to list them all.

Try Microsoft Hotfixes Q292435 and Q269214 (this latter is recommended for all Citrix MFWin implementations).

Q292548 could be useful - but I've heard stories about it breaking more than it fixes, so I haven't used it myself. Try it on a test server first - as always.

I hope this helps

Yep, we reboot the servers every night and they run scripts to clear out the temp directory, any user profiles, etc.

Looks like Q269214 will be the most appropriate.

I'll try it out when Compaq send my replacement PSU and HDD.

Thanks.
