It looks like they have split the downloads into individual applications now because when you download the ZIP file above, it contains a text file telling you the zip file name of all of the individual applications.

Bit of a pain, but worth it I guess.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

Then change or add the following two entries, setting their DWORD values to something large (mine are both set to 1000):

MaxConnectionsPerServer REG_DWORD (Default is 2)
Sets the number of simultaneous requests to a single HTTP 1.1 Server

MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server REG_DWORD (Default is 4)
Sets the number of simultaneous requests to a single HTTP 1.0 Server

In case you are a Windows user wondering about the easiest, quickest way to download the files and are not familiar with wget:

Get wget from [interlog.com] (scan the binaries before installing and executing, of course)

To download the files quickly and easily just copy & paste the filenames above into a file (call it utilities.txt), preferably in a new directory (make it easy to ID the files)

Go to the command line in that directory and type:

wget -i utilities.txt

This will download every file in the list to your current working directory.

Thanks guys, Just downloaded the lot as per the post. If any do go astray, I am sure I can find an FTP server at work to put them on, for those interested.

Is there any place that describes what each zipped file does? It's a great set to have, but short of unzipping each file and reading the help file etc. I'd like to know what each one does.
Anything out there?

For the help files there is an open source product to copy websites - HTTrack which I used. This keeps the organization intact.
 
Mark's first week at Microsoft:
Probably of most importance, however, is the outcome of the various meetings I’ve had with the Sysinternals/Winternals integration team. I’m pleased to report that Microsoft’s number one priority is not only keeping the tools freely available, but preserving the Sysinternals community including the newsletter, the forums, and my blog. While we’re still brainstorming how to make this successful in the long term, I’m pleased to announce the first step in the transition, which is the introduction of a new Sysinternals EULA, that I believe is even more permissive than the EULA in place before the Microsoft acquisition, since it allows for wider use of Sysinternals utilities within a company.

In the near future, the next step will probably be to move the tools to the Microsoft download center, which will increase download capacity. (No, they won’t be wrapped in .MSI files). I, and Microsoft, believe that this also demonstrates Microsoft’s commitment to keep the tools freely available.
