Hi all!

Can someone please fill in how this thing really works.

If the quiet option is set in the clients .opt file the client will not progress so much information to the dsmerror.log and dsmsched.log.

I wonder if I'm still able to see all information from the clients in the servers actlog if the quiet option is set on the client.

Thanks in advance!

Hi MLiam

Only errors generated by the client are elligible to be sent to the server for display in the server activity log. It doesn't matter whether the clients are running quiet or verbose, you won't see anything in the server activity log generated by the client that doesn't also appear in a client log somewhere.
