Quickstart icons disappear

Every now and then the Quickstart icons on the toolbar disappear. How can they be restored without rebooting?

Do you mean the Quick Launch toolbar on the taskbar? If you right click on taskbar and select toolbars entry - should get list of toolbars. Select Quick Launch & it should appear.

Thanks for reply.
When I start up, a row of icons appears to the left of the clock. I presume these are the "Quick Launch" icons. These are the ones that occasionally disappear, and which I can't get back without rebooting. Clicking on the Quick Launch name on Toolbars doesn't bring back the icons when they go wherever they go. George

Well actually the ones by the start are the quick launch "only click once" the ones by the clock are the startup programs, as to why they are disapering, I don't know. I'll try to check it out.. jackha
