I've been trying to import the quickbatch.iif file generated by my Miva merchant admin with no luck. I FTPed the file down from my server to my comp with quickbooks installed, opened quickbooks and imported it. The only problem is that over a dozen times during the import process dialog boxes popped up saying something along the lines of "error on line X", not very helpful for my debugging. I don't know what really went wrong or what problems the errors are causing. Anybody who has seen this before or knows how to deal with it please advice.

Thanks

Hello,
I run a start-up retail/wholesale operation, have been using quickbooks for a while now and I now want to set up an e-commerce website. I got in touch with the Miva option and il looks appealing, but QB integration seems to be a pain and not too smooth.
Can you give me an idea about your experience in this endeavour? Maybe if you posted your phone number it could be easier.
I'm also recruiting a web designer/ programmer to help me set up the website. Need to complete first phase in the next 6 weeks.

The built in Quickbooks export in Miva Merchant can be very buggy. Some people get it to work and others don't. There are some third party options. Modstop.com sell a BETTER module of the same time, but there are two better options. Miva has recently started selling Syncro which is a piece of software that talks between Miva and Quickbooks ( I think it needs QB 2003 ). There's a similar product at that again is "middleware" that grabs stuff from Miva Merchant, then allows you to check it before dumping it into Quickbooks.
