I have tried to look it up on the web but didn't get any info. I was wondering if the folder or drive that holds exchange database can be compressed or not? Thanks

You want to compress the exchange DB? I shudder at the thought. If your running out of space, have to tried an off-line defrag of the DB? Why would you want to compress it? I don't know for sure if it can't be done but I know I wouldn't do it!

Never, ever, ever compress a drive with any Exchange database components on it.

Ever.
