hi, if you can help me in figuring out how can i use flash's command (if possible without javascript) to have a button to launch a new broswer with settings of scrollbar=no, resizable=no, toolbars=no (you know what i mean).

also, another question is if you know a way to get a value of the current frame or previous frame loaded and assign it to a variable so i can always keep track of the frame that is playing? i can't get the script to work without saying syntax error!!!!!

thanks for your help.

joe

1-> Don't think you can get away with it without the use of javascript! Have a lok at one of Dave's FAQ: faq250-391 ...It might help!

2- Post your faulty code... So we can have a look at it!

thanks,i just want to give you both a star, but no where to be found?

how!!!?

hi

I guess you've sorted out you're first problem so I'll tackle the second for you.

In your main timeline create a dynamic text field and give it the variable "mm" say.

Now, create a movie-clip. In the first frame set the actions:

../:mm = _level0/:_currentframe;

and insert a frame in frame 2.

Drag this new movie-clip on the main time-line and voila!
