I'll start by saying I'm a long time Nortel/Avaya technician and have zero experience with panasonic. I came across this DBS system with voice mail IFM2S. I don't have any phones to see if the system even works, it does have a ip address on the front of the cabinet. When i fire it up and connect to the vmail card it asks me for a user name and pswd. Obviously I have no idea what that might be, can somebody steer me in the right direction as far as the pswd for this thing? Also do these systems have any value to them?

No value if there is a huge learning curve and you don't have a single phone or software to program it or Zero tech support since they are about 10 years gone. You can download manuals at
ebay may be an option or find a secondary market dealer that handles both notel and dbs and trade up.

I have about 17 DBS phones and I might be persuaded to let up to 5 of them go cheaply and the rest for more.....

The Voice Mail is interesting and the system it plugs into might even be a 576.

After some basic research it is indeed a 576 hd cabinet. I'm not really looking for phones for this thing at all. I really have no interest in this thing at all and would almost give it away just to get it out of my house at this point. I was wanting to verify that everything worked on it before selling it though. I'm guessing the fact that the vmail pops up with the user name and pswd screen that it is operational? I've never been able to come across any pswds for the thing at all? It any of u guys are interested please let me know.
