Quick Launch Bar

After adding a few additional icons to the Quick Launch Bar I would resize it so that all the icons are visible and then re-lock. The problem is, each time I reboot, the resizing is undone and not all the icons are visible so I have to redo this each time. Any idea why XP is not preserving the settings?

Are you using any type of desktop "protection"? I had this problem with my "home page" until I found a spyware utility was "protecting" my I.E. !

right click on task bar

and choose donot hide unused icons from properties
