Quick Launch Bar not showing all items under Lists?

I have a blog site. When I go to 'View all Site Contents' it shows that I have several items under lists:
Announcements
Comments
Links
Other Blogs
Posts
But when I go to regular view I only see:
Links &
Other Blogs
And the Document Library isn't showing up either.

I can't seem to get the others to show. Any ides why this would be and what I can do?

If you are a site owner, you can add the items on to the quick launch bar manually. It is possible that they were removed, or when the list was created, the option to include on QL was not checked.

Site Actions - Site Settings
Quick Launch (under look and feel column)

If you are not a site owner, it is possible that you do not have access to those items. SharePoint is security trimmed by default, so it will not show any items that were added by the system that you cannot access.
