I am looking at running a linux box as a firewall for my cable internet. i already have 2 machines networked via crossover cable, both are running Windows 2000.

My question is
a) What Hardware will i need (i.e. the linux box, such as recommended CPU Speed, Hard Drive Size, Ram etc)?
b) What Software will i need?

thanks for your help

You can use a 533, >5gb hard drive, and 256ram.. Linux doesn't require much. I suggest you try the Linux Mandrake Linux distribution for the firewall. --Sapient2003 - sapient@sapient2003.com
