I am having an issue with using announcements in a queue. I was told this was an issue in 4.2.14 and to upgrade to 4.2.20 - this still did not fix the issue.
The customer wants the first msg to be played, hold music, then the second message to be played 2 times. Simple enough, right? None of it seems to work. (yes, there are queued and still queued greetings programmed/recorded in VMPRO)
I did read that voicemail needs to be off or the VM answer time needs extended on the hunt group. I extended the no answer time to 200 seconds and turned off voicemail for testing, nothing changed.
What is happening is that the first greeting plays, phone rings, tries for agents (never any hold music), then continues to play the first greeting, never goes to the second.
I have tried various ringing times, both short and long, and nothing seems to change it. I verified that greeting 1 and greeting 2 are different, as well.
Is this still an issue in software or is there something stupid I am missing?
Thanks.
