Hey all I am trying to understand the behavior of queuing in IPO.
Question: If queuing is turned on in a hunt group, but no announcements are turned on, does the caller just hear ringing? No hold music or anything.

Yes, if you have the option to play music (in announcements tab) turned off then all it can do is ring :)

So would their be any pro to go through all my hunt groups and turn off queuing? It's on by default on them all.
For the hunt groups we don't really do queuing on.
For example hunt groups with only 1 person in them. We want the caller to just get sent to voicemail if that person is on the phone.

I guess the only pro would be instantly being sent to voicemail vs. ringing till voicemail picks up?

it depends what you want to use the groups for and if the queueing serves your purpose.
If you want calls to go to Vm if the only member (or all members) is (are) on the phone then you need to turn queueing off.
That also only works if you do not use "Collective Call Waiting" as a group type.
