What's the difference between a Volume and a Partition on a hard drive?

What is the maximum amount of hops for a OCMP packet?

How fast (in Megabytes) does ATM go?

What is the maximum distance for a packet to be sent on a T3 line before the signal starts fading?

What Windows 2000 service is used to stream audio/video on a network?
 
I believe Volume is the total capacity of the hard drive, while a partition can be a fraction of the total up to 1/1, depending on how many partitions reside on the hard drive.

ATM (DSL), though theoretically a max speed is 10 MBPS+, but practically is 128 KBPS - 1 MBPS. ----------------------------------------
