Hey folks
I've got an Avaya IP Office 406 v2, running 3.2(57). We want to do voice recording, as we're looking into purchasing ChroniCall. I've been able to use the Voice Recording setup (at the user level) and have a test extension recording inbound and outbound calls all the time. However, it doesn't record internal (extension to extension) calls. Is this by design? Is there any way to turn that on or off? Or is this an it-is-what-it-is kind of thing?
Also, does anyone have a good way to estimate how many voicemail licenses we'll want to purchase to cover all of our recording? I know its really a factor of how many calls we have and what we're using for our automated attendant, etc. I'm simply wondering what people typically say for quote purposes?
As an aside, if anyone is stuck on an older IP Office like we are, seriously look into ChroniCall, if anything for just the excellent reporting. I've been supporting phone systems for companies for a while now, and it is frankly some of the best reporting stuff I've seen so far. And it is certainly one of the more cost effective systems as well.
Thanks!
