ok guys i want to create a button that on rollover has more buttons inside...

have a look at this :


but because i'm not doing it right when the mouse rolls over the button, the buttons inside go crazy..what i did was create a mc the same size as the original button..
inside that mc has the other buttons..in the overstate of the original button i placed the mc..

ok i know this is wrong so some help to get this right is appreciated..

Carl,
Just e-mailed you the final .fla. Can't seem to trip this one! It's either opened (frame 11) when mouse is over first mc, or closed when the mouse is out of bounds. On quick mouse moves (better known as Luke's moves!LOL), it will open or close but finaly settle according to the mouse position.
I've included a xpos & ypos display of the mouse cursor position, to help you determine the bounderies of where you want the mouseover to be active.

nice work old man....off to work now..looking at a hundred hours this week..i just got promoted and and a couple people are now on vacation..guess who has to cover there shifts?.
