Sorry in advance. I can't figure this out. :)

When we receive inbound support calls I would like to be able to set up a Feature 70 (call transfer) that dials an outside line and connects. In this case it's a cell-phone we'd be transferring the call to.

I know this is possible but I have no recollection on how to do it.

I have admin access via 266344.

If someone could assist I would be grateful.

Thanks!!!

I cannot remember the exact circumstances, but one of my customers got hacked by allow redirect and feature 71. It was through Voice Mail hacking. Been a while. But as I recall.they allowed call forwarding. Hackers dialed into Voice Mail and used feature 71 to call China and India...Like I said cannot remember total issue, but it cost them nearly $50,000 in a weekend. Feature 71 I do not think limits the number of calls on one line....Once you do 71 it is carrier based and not system based. At least deny international calls at carrier...

Just a thought.

Can anyone list me the all the steps to configure the out lines in BCM50 with greeting message

Thank you in Advance

Already asked and responded too.

Hey DJ Paris,

How is this feature working out for you?

Did you get the card I dropped off for you a few days back? You were in a meeting.

Let me know if everything is working out ok for this feature.

Thanks,

Joe

Joe, great breakdown of using the hook flash function!

We are doing something similar. We have hook flash activated on our lines, and are transferring certain calls to single outside phone number. Currently, we are using the two button solution; one button programmed for Link/HookFlash, and a second as speed dial with the outside number. I noticed in the manual that there is a Pause (F78) feature that adds a 1.5 second pause. So...

My question is!

Is it possible to program a string that contains the Link/HookFlash > Pause > Speed Dial all on a single button? If so, what is the procedure?

thanks in advance,
~Clement
