Hello,

Would using remote desktop run several instances of the same app as people log in remotely. Example - Lets say i have a program that runs on startup, if i were to logon to that machine using remote desktop would that initiate another instance of the program that i have on startup or no?? Is remote desktop simply a window which lets you control the server and thats it or is it recreating the instances of any program running?? Please let me know.

Thanks to all,
Eddie

Hi,

It depends on what kind of remote desktop technology you are using. Generally, you would be running multiple instances of the same program as in Terminal Services.
