Hi,

We have an Option11 with 600TNs, However, when 150 TNs are simultaneously calling, other DNs are experiencing no dialtone. Is the 600TNs synonymous to 600 simultaneous calls per system? How do we check the number of simultansous calls allowed per system?

Thanks,

Pedro Penduko

pardon me, please specify the procedure... thanks....

600 TNs does not necessarily mean 600 calls. If you are talking outside calls, you are limited to the amount of your trunks, you do not have 600 trunks so you cannot make 600 outside calls.

Hi John,

yes you are correct, the number of trunks that we have are about 250, we have another 250 DNs. We are looking at making around 200 simultaneous calls. We configured additional 2 TDS/DTR card to add more DTRs to make sure dial tones is not a problem. However, when we have 75 DNs accessing 75 trunks, (75 +75 = 150 TNs used). The rest of the DNs cannot get dial tones. we checked all TDS/DTR during the time 150 TNs are used and we found out that we are only utilizing 1 out of three TDS/DTR cards in the system.
