I'm one of three techs accessing a CS1000/7.5 via VT/220 Terminal for moves/adds/changes using ADMIN2/ADMIN1 accounts for access and I want to setup LDAP to authenticate user Network credentials against our AD.

Question: How can I verify the TCP/UDP ports and are open on the internal Linux Firewall in the iptables and what ports should I use?

I'm thinking I need to access the CLI of the LinuxBase and perform a show command.

Alan B,

I don't have the answer to your question regarding LDAP. However, you can build individual users in UCM for each tech and use Putty to access the PBX as long as you have access to the ELAN on your network. Probably not the answer you are looking for but it is an alternative to setting up the LDAP.
