Question on Boolean Fields

When a boolean field is declared, is there a benefit to one Display Control option over the others (check box, text box or combo box)?

I am not a fan of controls on tables and it seems like Acess is in favor of it when it comes to booleans. I understand that regardless of which option, it is still stored the same way (yes / no, true / false, 0 / 1), but regarding the controls ... does one of them have more overhead or take up more space etc?

Thanks in advance

The most common approaches for boolean is to use "Option" button or "Check" box. You can also use the "Toggle" button - down and up indicates true and false. What is cool here is you can change the caption on the toggle button for true and false. For example, enrolled=true, Caption = "Enrolled", enrolled=false, Caption = "Not Enrolled".

You can use combo and list boxes too. A text box would work too, but would be a bit cumbersome.
