question of voicemail to email voicemail pro

I am not even sure how to word this question, I have a IPO 500v2 R8.1 with voicemail pro and has been up and running for 4 years now. Currently voicemail to email is working for small voicemail messages. The IT guy on site is saying that a large voicemail message/.wav file of 3meg or larger is not being sent. I know the voicemail server is running slow because the voicemail pro client program takes 4 to 5 minutes just to open once the welcome page shows. Any thoughts on this? also is there a size limit on the .wav files?

Does the SMTP server allow attachments that big?

Larry, a slow responding server could be a disk dying.
Make a backup and put it on a new server and see what happens then.
