Question DID number to Extension

Hello,

I have a lucent Definity G3Si Switch. I have a T1 coming in to my switch with multiple DID numbers on it. The DID numbers are automatically routed to an extension on the switch. For the life of me I can't remember the DISPLAY command to view the DID number to Extension routing.

Your DID's match up to extensions built in your PBX. Your telco will usally send you the same number of digits as your dial plan.

For the most part yes, the extensions are the same as the DIDs but I have a couple that are routed to different extensions....

I can't remember the DISPLAY command to look at these mappings.

If your extensions don't match up to your DID number, as in:

617-555-1234 is for extension 1234

You would change the DID to another number on the incoming call handling treatment page.

The command would be:

change inc-call-handling-trmt trunk-group X

Where X is the trunk group that delivers your DID calls.

I thought I would include a simple example.

If your DID is 222-333-1234 and you are on a 4 digit dial plan, it would match to your station or hunt group exension, LDN/VDN extension. disp sta 1234 for instance if it's your desk phone.

If you are doing digit changes, then that would be on the trunk group form, or in the incoming-call-hand table depending on your system revision.

hardware platform? Definity / CM software version?
These things almost always determine what answers can be provided that will work for you.
