Question about Visual Max Frame 1

Has anyone used the above mentioned software?? I ask since I have never been in an environment that used it and apparently it is very big thses days..
What exactly does it do and what are the benefits of using it

Like any framework, it provides a lot of code that handles a lot of the routine stuff for you. It also requires that you spend a some time learning how to use that framework - some can be more overwhelming than VFP itself! A good framework should make your development time shorter and maintanence easier.

Different frameworks are better at different sorts of applications, and all require you to accept the developers idea of how an application should be configured "right".

There are many pluses and minuses to all frameworks. You may want to check out the framework comparison chart at the Fox Wiki (

That being said, I've seen Drew Speedie (the author of MaxFrame) demonstrate his framework multiple times, and I know a number of people that use this framework.
