406 3.2 and VMPro 3.2 running fine for several years until recently and wondering if this is something simple I could see in Monitor or debug.

Call goes to VMPro and after ringing once the caller hears silence both for automated attendant and leaving/retrieving messages. Call Status shows the caller being answered by VMPro and in Services it will show the program as running.

A restart of the VMPro service corrects the issue and the pattern has been in the morning it's not working, restart the service and it works fine all day and then requires a restart of services the following morning.

Windows Updates and Firewall is off.

Backup, uninstall, reinstall and import your backups. Will take less than 30 mins and more than likely fix it. If not something on the PC has changed or it's just getting old :)

Indeed, it could be dying.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thank you both for the reply; I will reload the app before replacing the PC.

It's an XP machine and has been running 24/7 for at least 4 years so I can see age/wear as possible cause. Wish there were something more black and white in Windows Event Viewer before asking management for a new box.

Windows event viewer doesn't monitor/log every little process and event that happens, it would be unreadable if it did and fill your hard drive in about a week :)
