question about gator

On 3/23/03 question (Nohjekin)it was advised to get rid of all gator files to prevent pop-ups, etc. I ran a search and came up with 5 files with the name (data Navigator$Classinfo.class).Are these related to gator? And, are they ok to delete? Thank you
 
Not sure what those do, but they don't have anything to do with Gator. I'd leave them.

If you want to make sure you are rid of Gator (or any other Spyware and Adware) your best bet is to download either Ad-Aware 6 or Spybot Search and Destroy. Both are available for download free here:
