Question about exam changes...

Hello all,

I was going to start preping fo 640-607 (CCNA), in a week or so... but the exam ends on the 30th, I wont be ready in time... what exam will I have to take to get a ccna after the 30th?

it looks like it may now be the 640-801

is this the only test? or are there two test for ccna now?

I have 607 study material, should I still use this for a base and the learn the differences after?

You can Registered your self till Sep 30, 2003 for CCNA exam , Then u have a atleast 40 day to attempted this paper i think u will perpare your self in 40 days.

from what i know, after sept 30th 604-607 exam will vanish.
new set of CCNA testings are

640-801 CCNA

or

640-811 ICND
641-821 INTRO Beta

like you said, you should keep your old 607 studying material, because from what i heard, new tests will trash IPX (good b/c they are almost extinct) but add more of WAN technologies.
gotta flip out that PPPs. yaow~
hmm...i wonder if ISDN is part of WAN...i guess...
