DEAR ALL,
I use UltraDev to build a database driven website.
I had a test.mdb and created a DSN called "test" in my local folder. There is no problem when I test my website in local folder. However, when I upload the files to remote server, it didn't work. The error message is:
DSN not found and no default driver specified!
( in edit connection, I choose "using local DSN")
If I choose "using DSN on testing server, I cannot find my DSN in testing server....
How can I upload my DSN to remote server? I mean I don't know which file I should upload. And I did upload my test.mdb to remote server.
OR is there any mistakes in my approach?
Thanks a lot,
Sammx

Sammx,
Generally speaking, you need to request your Internet Service Provider to set up the DSN; Its an administrative thing that they need to do at their end, that you most likely dont have authorisation to do.

Contact the ISP; they'll prompt you for details, but generally all they should need to know is the (a) the name and location of your Access database, and (b) the preferred Data Source Name that you would like to use.

I Hope that Ive understood your question properly, and this helps,
