I have a C# application calling a .dll I created with VB6. When I execute the application interactively from explorer, it works. If I run it from the Windows Scheduler using the same credentials that I was logged on with, it fails. Is there any reason it would fail whether I ran it interactively vs. non-interactively (executed by the scheduler)?

Here is the error I am getting:

QueryInterface for interface P1MsgLogJobTracking._JobTracking failed.

There is any GUI in that application ?
If yes, that could be the problem.

Hey topherdel,

I had the same problem with VB 6.0...I ended up having to leave the computer logged in all night....I don't know what the issue with it is, but if you just log in and lock the box, it should run...which is to say mine did.

Good luck,
Kevin

Unfortunately, logging on and locking the server is not an option. This is on a production server and leaving it logged on is not allowed here.

Does your method really start with an underscore? That might be bad.
