Querying Oracle from Sybase?

I need to access data in Oracle8i (on NT) from Sybase (on Unix).

I've been told this can't be done.

Really?

Does anyone know how to do it?

What exactly is ur purpose of trying to access oracle from sybase. if u just need to transfer data to and from oracle/sybase u can create a vb app. which has 2 ADO Controls 1 connecting to oracle and another to sybase and then copy data as u like. if u need more info maile me at jigar_doshi@indiatimes.com
