Query

I have little knowledge of databases and need a bit of help. I have imported data into Access and there are four fields <supplier><style><quantity><price>.

For each style which is unique there may be price variations over a period of time. I need to rationalise the data to only give me the styles that have more than one price in the data and return that in a report.

Can anyone please help?

dear glenn,

you create a query (source is your table) counting the records grouped by style.

you create a second query (source is your table and the first query)
in that query you link the style from the query with the style from the table.

I am not sure that I follow you - sorry. I have created a query based on the table. When I create another query based on the table and the first query I get &quot;You have chosen fields from record sources which the wizard cant connect etc.............&quot;

it is the wizard!
Create the second query base on yor first query.
Save it.
go to edit mode:
right click where the used tables are displayed and choose
&quot;show Tables&quot; then add your table. and do the connection.

(sorry I have a german Version so don't rely on exact names)
