I can't identify any pattern. Maybe someone else has a clue what you are attempting to do.

Are you asking how to generate random numbers? There are no "cells" in Access. Why are 2899 and 2199 potential numbers? Do all potential numbers end with 99? Why 99 and not 98?

And is there some rule for how they are determined?
Why do you select the last digit in
7612 - xxx2
but the first digit in 4617 - 4xxx
?
