Query Criteria

I know this is easy but I am having a blank, its one of those days.

I have set up a query and in the criteria I have put Surname. This enables me to just pull the information on one person.

However, I also want ot be able to list all people. I know I can enter a star somewhere but I cannot get it to work. I want star or suname to be entered in the same box and get what I want.

can anyone help please?

Do you mean you want to use LIKE as your condition instead of = Regards

when you press the query button a box pops up asking for the surname. If I want one persons details I want to put their surname in.

If I want everyones details I want to put a star/asterisk in?

Hi

Yes at present in the criteria box you must have [Surname], just change it to Like [Surname]
