hi,

i need to run a querie with possible parameters to search against, or just enter a null value to display all the values. anyway to do this in one entrie?

thanks.

Could you just use a criteria of:
Like [Enter Value] & "*"
Keep in mind that if the user enters no value, all non-null values will be matched.

Hi Duane,

I should give you a star....

again there is a problem...
Suppose my table contains Items Battery, Battery water, Battery Pack.. etc
then I can't bring only record of battery. If I put "Battery" as criteria then it will bring all the records starting with Battery.
How could I solve it?

Regards

If you only want exact matchese, use a criteria of
=Nz([Enter Item],[ItemFieldName])
This would require an exact match.

You can also use

[Enter Item] Or [Enter Item] Is Null

If you enter an item it will filter, if you just click OK, it will return all records.
