This a merlin magix 3.0. I have a calling group setup with
a delayed annoucement device, plays ever 60 seconds, auto login and a queque of 10. I've changed time intervals on the delay annoucement device and still no MOH inbetween the annoucement intravels. Not sure what i'm missing.

You will not hear anything on internal calls, so any testing you do should be made by calling from the outside. What do you hear after the Delay Announcement, ringback or silence?

If you've got a System Music-On-Hold port that seems to be working, then it's likely that you've assigned a Group Calling Music-On-Hold port that has no audio. Group Calling Music-On-Hold (if assigned) supercedes the System Music-On-Hold for queued calls.

There's a section in the Merlin Magix Integrated System Feature Reference manual on pages 429-30 (Adobe Acrobat pages 457-8) that discusses the appropriate length of the announcement. It involves a formula that takes Primary and Secondary Announcements lengths and mashes them in with the number of calls expected, etc.

I know that outside calls only receive MOH. The group calling MOH has music on it, and I have tried different CO ports.

I'm totally confused. I thought the problem was that queued calls weren't getting MOH. Now you're telling me that they are? Or what?

Please define the problem more succinctly. I'd also like to know specifically how you are performing your tests. We need a strong baseline to work from, and we don't have it right now.

I have programmed a calling group with a DID number. I want MOH to play and the delayed annoucement playing ever 90 seconds when a call is put into hold. I have programmed line port 803 for music on hold, line port 804 is the calling group line port. MOH on hold from an outside line works. I have programmed different line ports to be MOH and groupcalling MOH, I still get MOH on outside calls, but not on calls that are waiting in the queque ith continues to play the delayed annoucement repeatedly. I have programmed this before on other Magix system and not had this trouble.

We know for an absolute fact that the System Music-On-Hold works. So unassign the Group Calling MOH and let the system source take over. If you STILL don't hear music, then we've got to look elsewhere.

About how long (in seconds) is the announcement?
