Hi,

We've got a problem with our que and repeated que announcements. Sometimes they play sometimes they don't.
When calling directly towards VSU board it works ok.

Any idea what could cause this problem??

Thanks for your reaction

Hi TJ79

How much simultaneous call toward the VSU do you have?
If more than 12, then all VSU ressource are busy and the system look for a new VSU that could inbcrease the capacity of the first one. If there is no one, then no mesages are played....

Is there a possibility to measure the usage of the VSU board?

Hi TJ79

There is no possibility so far to measure the usage of the VSU.
But you will certainly be able to analyse the statistic for you GH/ACD group and see how much call get queue and rep queue annoucement....

In the other hand, you have the LSCOP command.Count all switch path that uses RA1R program unit, associated with one of the equ of your VSU board, and if you have from equ LIM-MAG-SLOT-0 to 11, then all ressources of your VSU are occupied.

When all VSU ressource are busy to play queue and rep queue, there is a time at the end of the message diffusion before it is played again; if during this time a new call arrive, then the VSU ressource is provided to that new call and the 'old' call that was in between looses the VSU ressource.

But it is obvious that your VSU is fully used; you may add a new VSU in you system to increase the message diffusion capacity...

Best regards

When ordering a VSU is a battery plug RNV 991 942/001 a must have or? On the current VSU2 board we have this battery plug connected.

The battery plug prevents all your recorded VSU messages to be deleted, if the power fails, or someone pulls out the VSU board. I will recommend that you also order this battery plug for your new VSU.
You may consider the battery plug as an UPS for a PC or at battery back for your MD110.
