I've installed the proper software for the USB dongle, and I've restarted. The Apple System Profiler is recognizing & identifying it and the light is on, but Quark just won't see it. This is happening on more than one machine. Am I missing something?

Thanks - nichole

Hi Nichole,

I'm not aware as to what procedure you followed when you installed the hardware key so I would suggest you to take a look at the following link to make sure that you follow(ed) the correct procedure of installing the Hardware key and i'm sure that you'd be able to rectify the problem yourself.

Hope this helps.

Hi Nichole,

If you are using an iMate Adapter from Griffin Technology (or any other brand of adapter), and want to connect an ADB hardware key to the USB port on a newer Mac OS computer, download and install the adapter's software driver.

Note: The QuarkTech™ team has found that sometimes the adapter transfers insufficient power if it and the hardware key are plugged into any “downstream” device (such as a keyboard, monitor, or USB hub). In such cases, try plugging your adapter with the hardware key directly into one of the USB ports on the computer to find out if it will function in that location.

Hope this Helps,

Regards,
TechLeo

Have u got the correct driver for ur dongle.....
If ur hardware key has "HASP" written over it then u need to go for the HASP driver if "Quark" is written on the hardware key then u need to install the sentinel eve3 driver......
